Give Thanks

We have so much to be thankful for, Thanksgiving has come and gone.  This Thanksgiving has helped me to realize that I have some much to be thankful for.  I'm blessed with two lovely daughters, that are truly a gift from God.  My mother and father are alive and healthy, bringing great joy to my life.  I have true friends that are loving and supportive. But most of all I have a Savior, Jesus Christ, that gave His very life for me.  I'm thankful for health and strength.  Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to reflect on things which we should be thankful for, but every day, we should look at the blessings of God and be thankful.  Lord, I give thanks!

Just a few days until the release of the book:  Why You Hatin'?  I know God has awesome plans for this book, in Jeremiah 29:11 it says:  For I know the plans I have for you"--this is the LORD's declaration--"plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Leadership Conference

I had the opportunity to attend an awesome Leadership Conference, this past week.  Through the Conference I was certified to teach John Maxwell material and will be assigned to go out and teach this Leadership Material.  I would love to have an opportunity to teach in the United Kingdom, just waiting to see what God says, because I am more open to His will than my own.  Dr. Doug Carter was the facilitator of my training, an extremely gifted man of God.  I was also fortunate enough to sit under the teaching of Dr. Lance Wallnau, such a vast amount of knowledge this man has, I was truly blessed!

Just a Few Days Away!

Wow!  I have been so very busy, I haven't even had a moment to BLOG.  The last time I blogged, I shared I was going to a Leadership Conference.  Once that Conference began, pretty much everything else stopped, it was a life-changing Conference.  Such knowledge and in-sight to apply to my life, can't wait to put into action all that I have learned.  Well it is back to the grind on today, completing programs for the Book Launch, finalizing my January schedule and polishing details at the Hotel.  Stepping into my destiny, God is so good! 

9 days until the Book Launch: Why You Hatin'?

Wow! Today has been a very long and productive days, still working on the details of the Book Launch, there is so much to do, from menu, programming, decorating and planning.  Very busy, but of course very exciting.  As the day swiftly approaches I am remaining prayerful that God will take the driver seat, leading and guiding me all the way.  I don't want to do anything that is not led by God.  I'm on a mission to live out His will and purpose for my life.  Tomorrow is a very busy day, attending a Leadership Summit at my church, constantly trying to get everything that God has to offer me, so that I may grow in His grace and knowledge.  I hope you are making the same commitment to live for Christ and allowing Him to guide. My First Book: In the Shadow of the Steeple!

I have been so excited about the release of: "Why You Hatin'?" That I have neglected giving you information about my first book: In the Shadow of the Steeple!  In the Shadow of the Steeple is a semi-autobiographical encouragement for Pastors' family.  I wrote this book to encourage those in ministry and encountering struggles.  After my husband took his life, the Devil almost had me convinced to let this book go, but God impressed on my heart an even greater need for this book, so that people may know the hurts and pain, even if I had felt failure.  I pray that this book will help you whether you are a Pastor, a Pastor's wife, kid or just have a heart for your Pastor's family.  This book is always available to you at www.amazon.com

10 days until the Book Launch: Why You Hatin'?

Wow!  Today has been a VERY exciting day, the books arrived on today, just a few loose details to secure before the Book Release and Launch Party.  My suit also came today for the Book Launch Party, I think I was almost more excited about my suit, "it's a girl thang!"  But God is doing a tremendous work and I am excited to see what He has in store for this ministry.  I am ready to used to His glory!!!!  What's next Lord?

11 days until the Book Launch: Why You Hatin'?

God placed this book on my heart for so many reasons! But in particualar He placed it on my heart for the Body of Christ! We have a great work to do and so often our work is hindered, by pettiness. Often we are not able to move forward because of hurts, mistreatment and just plain silly behavior. I found myself being hindered by people that simply hurt my feelings. I was caught up at times with pleasing people and forgetting that my number one priority should be to please Jesus. No matter how hard you try you will never be able to please everybody. So make it your goal to please Jesus and you'll come out all right. When I changed my focus and priority, I changed my life. Maya Angelou says: If you want something changed, change it. If you can't chang it, change your attitude! This has become my new philosphy, I'm trying to bring about change through this book, but first, I had to change my attitude. This book covers my transformation and how God led me to love beyond my hurts, mistreatment and my own silly behavior. We have been commissioned to reach the masses, but we can't do it, if we are not willing to exhibit the love of Christ. I challenge you to begin your own personal evaluation and ask yourself. Why You Hatin'?

12 days until the Book Launch: Why You Hatin'?

Well today has been extremely busy, got up first thing this morning and went to the Doctor, got a full check up in order to make sure I'm healthy as I begin this book tour.  God is good!  I'm in great health!  But I got eat right, exercise and do all that maintaining stuff, that requires that self-motivation thing.  God Help me!!!  Well I willl be working on finalizing plans with the Hotel for the Book Launch and ordering some last minute items.  I'm so excited to see how God will manifest HIS glory in this new project.  I'm trusting that God has a plan to reach the masses and for us to learn to be more loving and concern as christians and less judgement and critical.  God draws with love, so should we!!!!

13 Days Until the Book Release of Why You Hatin'?

Wow! So excited I gained an extra hour, although, I have been up and about since first thing this morning.  So I might have lost it already.  Getting ready for Worship, I know Pastor Paul will have a word just for me.  I'm grateful to have an opportunity to worship God freely, unhindered and unashamed.  I pray for all the people around the world that do not have the priviledge of worshipping God, they face persecution and some times death.  Lord, please protect and guide those who desire to know you and grow deeper, yet are faced with serious consequences for exercising their faith.  Send your Angels to protect and keep them. Amen!

Book Release: November 19th

Psalm 2:8 says:  Ask of Me, and I will the nations Your inheritance and ends of the earth Your possession.  The Book, "Why You Hatin'?"  Will be released and launched into a Book Tour on Saturday, November 19th.  Beyond the United States and Canada, it will be available in the United Kingdom, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy...  and on!  What an opportunity to walk in the Great Commission, Go ye therefore and teach all nation... Here I am Lord, use me!

Why You Hatin?

Book Release November 19th

A lot of times we don't want to admit to jealousy for fear that it might reveal some type weakness in us!  But honestly, we have all bee there!  What's important is that we don't stay there and we don't allow our jealousy to lead us into bad behavior.  Our jealousy can lead to resentment of others and their achievements. Instead of being happy for what they have accomplished, we don't wish them any good at all.  In fact we will speak negatively against them.  Let's do a heart examination "EVERY DAY".  And allow God to give us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51).  God has something for all of us, He wants you to well, just like anyone else, so... Why You Hatin'?

What happened on the way to my Book Launch for Why You Hatin'?

14 days until the Book Launch on November 19th.  Making preparations for the event at the Doubletree Hotel, sending out e-mail blasts all day, working on Press Releases.  Giving everything I have, to the glory of God.  I'm so very excited, this Book Release is vital to me, is more than a Book Release, it's my release for God to use me in His service, to launch me forth in the Great Commission.  Jesus said go... that's the phrase my Pastor always uses.  My mother says: "Jesus said Go, but we want to come."  We want to come in and fellowship, come to meetings, come to programs.  We need to Go out!  This is my oportunity Lord, "I give myself away, so you can use me!"

15 days until the Book launch of my 2nd book, "Why You Hatin'?"  This is has been a difficult journey, but my heart is so into this book.  It is my prayer that God will use this tool to change lives, as He has changed mine.  This world is full of jealousy, pride and envy, but with the people of God there should be great be different.  It is my "Mission" to spread love, not hate!!!!  Let's do it together!

Why You Hatin'?

The Bible admonishes us, "If it is possible, as much as lies within you live peaceably with all men." (Romans 12:18). Yet we constantly have divisions and often fail to demonstrate the love of Jesus in the church.  Let's make every effor to grow pass our sensitivites and short comings.  Journey with me in my new book: "Why You Hatin'?  Release Date:  November 19th.   We have all been guilty of either being jealous, prideful or envious.  One step is to acknowledge that weakness, another step is not to allow ourselves to get caught up in actions that would hinder us from being all that God would have us to be.  In my new book, we openly discuss behaviors stemming from jealousy, pride and envy.  Let's release the flood gates and allow God to bless us and everyone we come in contact with, by showing love, not hate!
