Miracles, Signs and Wonders!!!

Matthew 13:58 says: And he did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Jesus stopped doing miracles and wonders because the people did not believe.  Has Jesus stopped doing miracles and wonders through us, simply because we don't choose to believe that He can?

We pray, but are we praying with power and convictions? We have power in us to do great things; we have dunamis power (sign, miracles and wonders).  John 14:12 says: "Very truly I tell you, who ever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. "

I believe God is leading us into a time of REVIVAL like we have never known and He wants to do miracles through His people. It's time to completely surrender to Him. We must believe!

Let's put our trust and confidence in God and His power; so that He will continue to do great wonders in the lives of His people.

Let us surrender ourselves and allow God to stretch us like never before.  We must allow God to take us beyond our comfort zone.Let's surrender ourselves to the work of the Lord in our lives and choose to be amazed by the power of God displayed.

Acts 1:8 says:  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Walk in His Power, seeking signs, miracles and wonders.

The Power of Praise

There are times when we feel so defeated, so beat up by life, attacks and even disappointments.  That we believe we just don't have the spiritual strength to give God sincere praise.  And beloved, that is just what Satan is counting on; his plan is to wear us down to the point where we have no desire to praise God because of our frustrations.

You see Satan realizes that there is great power in our praise and if he can keep us down and frustrated, to the point where we are unable to give praise to our God; he has won a major feat. Your praise is something that you simply cannot give up no matter what! Not only does it help you to combat the enemy, it also empowers you and gives you great strength. Singing a song from your heart will give a tremendous boost to your spirit.

Have you ever been there? Problems so overwhelming, you begin to feel low and burdened. Then all of a sudden a song comes from no where, you begin to sing unto God and before you know, you have been uplifted and encouraged within. That is the power of a song and the power of your praise.

In 2 Chronicles 20 a great army rose against King Jehosphat and his people. Jehosophat was afraid but he went to the Lord and prayed.  He declared a fast throughout the land.  All the people came out and stood before the Lord, praying for His deliverance.  As they were praying, the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel and he began to speak: "Listen, this is what the Lord says, do not be afraid, don't be discouraged.  For the battle is not yours, but the Lord's; you will have no need to fight, set yourselves and watch, God will deliver you." The Lord told them exactly where the enemy was camping, God told them where to go and what to do.

Then King Jehosophat appointed sings to lead the army, he told them to praise the beauty of the Lord and say: Praise the Lord, for His mercy endureth for ever. As they marched out and they began their shouts and praises, the Lord set ambush against the enemy and they began to fight themselves. The enemy helped Judah destroy them. They had the victory!

But, it all began with a shout, it began with their praise.  Remember how God used a shout, not the weapons of man to destory the walls of Jericho.  In the midst of your trials and tribulations, no matter how difficult they are, find the strength to lift up a praise to our mighty God.  Because there is power in your praise; give God your best Hallelujah! You and I are destined for greatness!  We must always hold on to our hope, our heart and our hallellujah!

Then God will reveal that He was in control all along!  Remember, the power of our praise!

Everyone Must Help!!!

No matter who you are, your background, your economic status, your religious beliefs, everyone must help with the fight against Human Trafficking.  This Saturday in Riverside, CA, our Organization the Women's Worshipfest will host a Donation Drive in order to raise funds in our fight against Human Trafficking.  We are partnering with Goodwill and Jamba Juice and they will give funds toward our fight against Human Trafficking. If you are in the Riverside area this Saturday, please meet us at the New Hope Baptist Church, 19320 Spalding Avenue. Please bring a bag of unwanted items for the drive; what you don't want, we certainly do. 

The purpose of this donation drive is to help us raise awareness, educate and support those who are out there in the trenches everyday, reaching out to those who are trapped. We are blessed to work with a Missionary from Paris, France "Sarah-jane" she left everything in France to come out and help with this great cause.  So many people are joining in to help where they can, what about YOU?

This week we will launch a new movement: "LET IT BE ME"!!! It has been a tremendous move on my heart to do all I can to stand up and fight against this major injustice in Human Trafficking.  When the Women's Worshipfest took on the mantle to raise the awareness of Human Trafficking in the United States, we found many people were not aware of Human Trafficking had trapped man young boys, girls, women and men, right here in the United States. Many people that we have encountered have shook their heads and uttered the words: "That's A Shame!"

But now we have several questions before us, who will shine a light on the Human Trafficking right in our back yard? Who will take a stand against this injustice that so many people face? Who will do all they can to help those suffering. I am ready to answer: "LET IT BE ME"!!! And I am asking everyone to join me and to do what they can.  You may not be able to do much, but we can all do something!

Join us, stand with us and get ready to help those need! In the history of our Nation there have been so many rights violated, so many injustices, yet there were always great leaders to rise, stand and become the voice for those who were able to do so on there own.  What we face today is a greater battle than any other slavery we have had in our history; there are 27 million people trapped in this Modern Day Slavery. Let's not stop the fight to they are free, won't you join us and say: Let It Be Me!!!!

Touch A Heart Radio Talk Show

This has been an absolutely amazing season for me, not all bad, but definitely not all good.  One thing I have definitely learned is that God is stretching me in areas I never thought possible.  Isaiah 54:2-4 says: “Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep.You’re going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family.You’re going to take over whole nations; you’re going to resettle abandoned cities. Don’t be afraid—you’re not going to be embarrassed. Don’t hold back—you’re not going to come up short.You’ll forget all about the humiliations of your youth,and the indignities of being a widow will fade from memory. 

In this past season I definitely experienced some indignities as a widow; without a doubt there were times when I felt a loss of dignity and self-respect.  But I certainly learned that it is in those times when God becomes very BIG in your life.  He has become so very huge in my life and every day He is opening my eyes to new wonders and giving me a greater desire to help those in need.  In February we launched our Touch A Heart...Change A Life Campaign that is still active and God continues to add to that vision. We are currently preparing to host our first Radio Talk Show, "Touch A Heart", where we will focus on hurting people, hurting situations and powerful solutions.  I want to be a part of the solution for those who are in pain.  I am delighted the God is providing a platform to share many of the issues people face day in and out and what we can do as a body of believers to help.  

This is my life's goal to Touch A Heart...Change A life!!!  Won't you join me? Keep watch...I have so many things to share on this wonderful journey.

Focused on the Goal!!!

As I begin to reflect on my life in the reason years, I have been virtually in the press since 2007, I have had struggle after struggle, since 2007. My boss said something today that I have heard so many times: "you remind me a little bit of Job". I even remember saying those words in 2010, "wow, I feel like Job, but praise God I haven't seen death" and in 2011 my husband took his life.

God has been stretching and preparing me from something GREAT!!! Something so BIG that I could never do it on my own. Something so BIG that He had to keep my focus on Him. So with that in mind, I am focused on the goal.  In Philippians 3:12-14 in the Message it says: I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.

It has been a  rough road, and most of what I have experienced lately is NOTHING that I would have ever asked for, but all I have to say to Satan is "BRING IT ON", if you are spending so much of your time on distracting and frustrating me. You are giving me a reason for HIGH PRAISE and helping me to stay focused to see what God really has for me that has kept you on attack for me!!!

I say on this day "Thankful Thursday" March 14th, that I will look back and see why Satan had an "ALL OUT ATTACK" on me and my family. I know without a doubt my goal is not church work, but Kingdom work!!! He who wins souls is wise and I'm on the Lord's team, with the goal of bringing manysouls into the fold!! Satan must see something so MIGHTY in the name of Jesus, that he is working very hard to stop me. Even today, I have been in the bed all day with some type of infection, my body completely in pain. I was feeling pretty bad, then I remembered it is my declared: Thankful Thursday, so I have to stop and say thank you Lord, I'm ALIVE!!! No matter what comes my way, I've got my eye on the goal, I'm aiming high and focusing on the goal!!!

Because Life is Precious

This Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada I will have a wonderful opportunity to be a part of something Life Changing: March for Life!!! I will be at Baker Park, lending my support to a wonderful cause.  There are times when we really do not realize the cost for the decisions we make.  I have been blessed to be a part of a fantastic organization who commits to saving lives every single day.  Did you know that in the last 40 years over 54 million babies have been legally killed.  Isn't it time that we begin looking at solutions and multiple choices to help those who are in the midst of a pregnancy crisis? That is what First Choice Pregnancy Services does for the community.
